Upper Back Pain
Upper back pain is considered pain anywhere from the bottom of the rib cage to the base of the neck. It’s not as common as lower back pain but can still cause a substantial amount of discomfort. Symptoms include:
- Muscle tightness
- Dull burning
- Sharp pain
- Numbness in limbs
Our back is not to take for granted; basic functions like sleeping, sitting, standing, and walking are not the same with upper back pain. It’s important to note that there are many different causes to upper back pain. These can include myofascial pain (most common), joint dysfunction, herniated disc, overuse or muscle strain, improper posture, and osteoarthritis. Many of these causes can – and should – be treated with non-surgical treatments. Too often, people resort to thinking they need surgery when that is just not the case. Here at Next Generation Health Care, we have helped many patients avoid back surgery and the bed rest and physical therapy that comes along with it.
Our doctors understand the struggle of having back pain. But they also know how to reverse this damage. One of our most beneficial treatments is the Stem Cell Therapy treatment. If you want a healthier alternative to fixing your upper back problems, get in touch with us, and let’s see if our treatments can help.
